Mrs. Lucier is our Registrar. See her if you need an appointment with a counselor, a copy of your transcript, or have a question about scholarships. She loves working at schools, and has worked at elementary, middle, and high schools before joining SHS&CTC. When she's not at work, she likes to spend time at her camp or in New York City.
Mrs. Lontine is our Career Technical Center counselor. She holds a Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Southern Maine, and received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of New Hampshire. She has experience working in a variety of school settings, as well as in residential placement and in community mental health centers. She and her children are avid student fans and enjoy being invited to be a spectator at your after-school events! When she's not at school she enjoys spending time with her family.
Mrs. Sloan is our counselor for the classes of 2017 and the incoming class of 2019. She is also a Master Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, with a Master of Arts from the University of New Hampshire. Mrs. Sloan also received her bachelor degree in English from UNH. Before joining the Somersworth High School Counseling Department, she was a drug and alcohol counselor for both adults and youth. When she's not counseling adolescents, Mrs. Sloan finds the time to run marathons, practice yoga, and be a proud mom to her son and daughter!
Ms. Hayden is the Crisis Intervention Coordinator for both Somersworth High School & Career Tech Center and Somersworth Middle School. She is at SHS on Tuesdays and Thursdays and is a wonderful connection between the two buildings. She runs a mentoring program that allows high school students to make an impact on the lives of struggling middle school students. When she's not running between SHS and SMS, Ms. Hayden likes to try out new recipes. Ms. Hayden studied Psychology at Dean College and received a Master of Counseling from the University of Connecticut. Before coming to Somersworth, Ms. Hayden did research at UConn and helped students with developmental disabilities obtain job skills.
Mr. Pelletier is our class of 2018 and 2020 school counselor. He has worked with all grade levels and brings a diverse background to the guidance department which includes having worked as a paraprofessional, teacher and adventure-based counselor. Mr. Pelletier holds a M.Ed. from the University of New Hampshire and is a New Hampshire certified school counselor. Mr. Pelletier is fluent in French and enjoys fishing, writing, woodworking, working on old cars, COD on PS and raising animals. He would also like to spend time in Japan and the Balkans.
