How do I get to graduation from here?
The following table shows the 4-year sequence of required courses needed to earn a Standard 26-credit Diploma. It does not include elective courses which students will need to choose. Students will be scheduled into the appropriate grade level courses each year. For additional course suggestions based on specific career paths see “Career Clusters.”
*Please note that these courses will NOT be enough to gain admission into a four year college. Additional math, science and world language classes are typically required. Please see “Meeting Requirements for College” for more information.
**In addition to traditional in-school SHS/CTC classes, credits may be earned by successfully completing Extended Learning Opportunities (ELOs), online courses through the Virtual Learning Academy Charter School (VLACS), Work Study as well as demonstrations of proficiency (i.e., the ½ credit technology requirement). Any such alternative courses or educational experiences must be pre-approved by the school administration.
